Different methodologies (individual interview, group interview, play, testing applications, observation and evaluation form applications, anecdotal record creation, etc.) are used to understand child’s development features and requirements in students’ intraclass and out-of-class school life by school’s psychological counseling and guidance teachers within the cooperation with family and other teachers.
The effective and healthy monitoring of the child, who is in a dynamic development process, by the family, raising family awareness of their child’s developmental needs, establishing effective school-family cooperation to support the child’s sophisticated development, are aimed with the family guidance. These purposes are carried out with family interviews, small/big group meetings, education seminars.
