
She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biology Education at Gazi University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the same university, as well as a master’s degree in Adult Education at Ankara University. Her graduate studies, which began with bioethics, have continued with research aimed at improving classroom practices by developing teachers’ reflective thinking skills.
She has served as a research assistant on national and international projects such as TÜBİTAK, BAP, and FP7. She has experience in helping schools develop action plans aligned with established goals, conducting needs analyses, implementing longitudinal monitoring, ensuring standardization in education and instruction, and opening schools that meet established standards. She has published articles on “teacher professional development, pre-service teachers’ views on ethical issues, and students’ views on euthanasia expressed through argumentative paragraphs.”
Her research interests include teacher professional development and change, school development, school performance indicators, adult education, and reflective and critical thinking.
